Confident In Christ

Today we focus on confidence in ourselves. To achieve true peace with one’s self is to know whom you are in Christ. So instead of looking at all the ways you can better yourself from a figure physical,  financial, social, and successful standpoint, allow yourself to rest and be secure in God and what he can do through you by faith. See we often compare ourselves to everything and everyone around us. Who’s thinner, more successful etc. insecurities arise when we are looking to ourselves to be sufficient. But when you rest on what God is capable of in your life then your confidence is in him and not yourself and you become secure in whom you are in Christ, and your sufficiency is full. Let’s apply what the Bible tells us today and rest in God…

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord , and whose hope the Lord is.

Be content

Sometimes we can be so consumed with images we see on TV and social media, that we began to have discontent for our real lives. Which can turn in to envy, jealousy and often comparing ourselves to others. We have to began accepting that we all are wonderful in our own way, And that God makes us sufficient. Study the scripture passage below and ask God to help you to understand it.

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord . And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord . And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen? If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
